Meyer's Bakery by Claus Meyer

---

Hi, dear friends! Today I would like to share with you my experience with this book. I've borrowed the book from Edinburgh Library exactly before lockdown. What I want to underline is that at the beginning I was about to consider this book a bread bible, but then, when going deeper into it I've realised that the book is really inspirational concerning the bread, the doughs, starters, sourdough bread, different techniques and approaches to develop ones knowledge concerning bread, enriched dough, types of flour etc, but this book cannot be a bible of the bread. Not after reading Bertinet's books :)

I would definitely recomend this book. It is really reach in useful information and if you want to make breads, burger buns, cinnamon swirls and maaaaany many more then you'll go right with Meyer's Bakery. But this is not enough. I would recommend many other books. This is not accidental that the Danish Claus Meyer the author of the book is offering on the last pages quite a nice and rich list of bread and dough inspirational books, starting with Bertinet. I've photographed them for you, my friends, and I'll post them for you. Hopefully they'll be of some help.
